More work for Viasat, where I've been freelancing quite a bit recently. I keep meaning to update my website properly with some of this work, but for the time being a couple more stills, these ones for Viasat History.

I love grading

Grading, I love it. This was for a promo for film channel TV1000. I worked on the colouring and effects.

Smother

Design and illustration for Artangel Interaction. The work is to publicise an upcoming project based in a disused house in Kings Cross. The building is triangular, and sits on top of the Fleet River, which stills runs underneath London. The project launches in May, more info and pictures to follow.

Hyde Park Signage

Over the last couple of months I have been working with artist Virginia Nimarkoh on some signage and print for a project she is working on in Hyde Park. The final result should be very exciting, big concrete signage set into footpaths to commemorate the original site of the Great Exhibition in 1851. Pictures to come...

The fag packet

Finally I got to check out Nottingham Contemporary, the new art space in Nottingham. Apparently the locals have nicknamed the building the 'fag packet' which is genius.

A small patch of land behind an industrial estate in Nottingham. Lots of unexplained lingering smells but some good pylon-photo opportunities.

Mayakovskaya Metro Station

I have been watching the excellent Art of Russia series on iPlayer (thank you David) and made the non-too-subtle link between Mayakovsky and Mayakovskaya Metro station in Moscow. These photos are from a brief visit on the way back from the Krok Animation Festival in 2007. Typically there were more photos of the signage than the beautiful mosaics in the ceiling. So on a cyrillic signage note I have added two more pictures from Odessa train station in Ukraine, taken in 2005.
